There will be negative Marking as for every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for second stage shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of ALP and Technician Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in First Stage CBT.
The Exam Pattern for Railway Recruitment 2018 constitutes of two stages of CBT or Computer Based Test followed by Computer Based Aptitude Test and Document Verification. Let's have a look at both these stages of CBT in detail.
The duration of Written test shell be for 90 minutes. The written examination shell be based on class 10 level consisting of 100 multiple choice objective type questions aimed to asses the general knowledge / awareness, mathematics and reasoning etc.
The recruitment process for the post(s) is based on Single stage written examination followed by verification of original documents. The Question papers shall be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The standard of questions for the written examination will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts.The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning, General Science and Technical Ability. The question paper will have 150 questions, out of which about 90 questions will be of Technical Ability & General Science and about 60 questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning.
